5-Week Meditation Course
with Fai Mos
Sleep Deeper. Stress Less. Discover the Practice That Works for You.
Meditation can feel simple in theory, but difficult in practice. Many people try a single technique, struggle to quiet the mind, and assume meditation just isn’t for them.
In reality, meditation is not one method but many.
This 5-week course is designed to introduce you to a range of meditation and breath practices so you can discover what genuinely supports your mind, body and nervous system.
Guided by Fai Mos, each week explores a different meditation technique alongside a supportive pranayama (breath) practice, helping you build the foundations of a personal practice you can continue at home.
Throughout the course, you will explore:
Meditation techniques
• Body Scan
• Visualisation
• Loving Kindness (Metta)
• Trataka (candle gazing)
• Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)
Pranayama (breath) practices
• Sama Vritti (balanced breathing)
• Resonance breathing
• Modern Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing)
• Suryabhedanan (Sun Piercing) Candrabhedana (Moon Shining)
• Bhramari (humming breath)
Alongside the guided practices, participants will receive journal prompts and a workbook to support reflection and help integrate these techniques into daily life.
By the end of the course, you will have:
• A clear understanding of several meditation styles
• Practical breathwork techniques to regulate stress and support sleep
• Tools to create a meditation practice that feels natural and sustainable
• A workbook to continue exploring your practice at home
This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have tried meditation before and would like a deeper understanding of different approaches.
Whether you are looking to improve sleep, reduce stress, or simply create space to reconnect with yourself, this course offers a gentle and supportive introduction to meditation.
About the Facilitator – Fai Mos
Fai is a yoga and meditation teacher and the creator of Words & Contemplations, a space dedicated to exploring gentle, practical approaches to wellbeing in the midst of modern life. Her work draws on traditional yogic practices, pranayam, mindfulness, sound and self-inquiry, with a focus on helping people reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems and build practices that feel sustainable in everyday life.
Through her teaching, Fai encourages a compassionate and curious approach to meditation. Rather than presenting meditation as something to master, she guides students to explore different techniques and discover what genuinely works for their own mind and energy.
Her classes blend traditional meditation techniques, pranayama (breath practice), and reflective journaling, creating a space that is both grounding and exploratory. Fai teaches with warmth, clarity and accessibility, supporting students whether they are completely new to meditation or looking to deepen their existing practice.
This course reflects her belief that meditation should not feel rigid or inaccessible, but instead become a supportive tool for sleep, emotional balance, and everyday wellbeing.
Dates: All five sessions run 10.30am - 11.45am on the Sundays in May at Kozen Yoga in Hawthorn.
(May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st).
