It is a shorter, 45-minute class, wonderful for beginners to learn more about yoga and gain confidence for other classes, but also an opportunity for experienced students to come and refine their technique.
The 8-week cycle will be as follows:
Week 1: Yoga Origins and Sun Salutations
Week 2: Warrior Poses
Week 3: Balancing Poses
Week 4: Triangle series
Week 5: Twists
Week 6: Back Bending
Week 7: Abdominals and Inversions
Week 8: Hip Openers and Forward Bends
Each week will also include a short pranayama (breathwork) technique which you can then practice at home.
There will be space for questions and discussion during class and this will be a very supportive and inclusive class, welcoming to all. No nervousness is necessary!
